Answers to Quiz!

Thank you for particpating in the quiz. I’m a little disappointed that not many of you came on board. Nonetheless, I am giving you the answers here.

 1. Jump the Queue / Beat the Queue

Explanation: You do not cut a queue. You can jump the queue or beat the queue. So, those of you who keep saying “cut queue”, please correct yourselves from now on.

 2. Low Prices Every Day

Explanation: There are 2 errors. Firstly, if you say “lower prices”, people may misunderstand the use of “lower” as a verb i.e. “I will make the prices lower and lower each day”. Secondly, “every day” should be in 2 words. You use “everyday” as a single word when you use it as an adjective i.e. “Brushing my teeth is an everyday activity that I do without fail.”

The winners are :

1. Christie

2. Christel

3. Tesa

They are the first three who have answered question 1 correctly. No one got question 2 correct.

Congratulations! You will receive your prize soon.
